Anyone seeing this on Windows or Linux? Saw one bug report probably yours.. On windows you can hit "F12" to get the browser debugger up and you might see some error messages.
I can't reproduce on any of my machines.. Would be nice to know what network connection is hanging. The "F12" debugger can show network connections. Maybe one is going to an advertising or tracking site that is either blocked or offline? I can try to add some extra browser debugging code into the next version.. Thanks in advance. And, of course, only turn it off to download files you know to be safe.
In Windows Defender, you can also change Edge's SmartScreen to merely warn you when you are about to download a file it deems suspicious instead of it outright blocking it.
